Summary

My career in software development spans over 10 years. My first development role was within an engineering company, writing software to automate the creation of schematics for use in construction of industrial machinery. I was able to automate this procedure, to remove the requirement for human intervention, thus realising large benefits to the company.

My current role, in the Innovation Team within Norwich Union, offers me the opportunity to explore the latest technologies and apply them to real business problems. I've enjoyed great success within the team, writing software from simple data entry tools, exploring mobile devices, to IT ordering systems, quote engines and communications software.

In my spare time, I develop Web 2.0 websites and enjoy creating community enablers.
