Instanciating an object from it's type name

Instanciating a control from it's type name is easy..

string typeName = "YourNameSpace.YourObject";

Type assType = Type.GetType(typeName);
object dynamicControl = Activator.CreateInstance(assType);

One thing you may run into is that in some cases the type name needs to be a fully qualified name.. You can get this name like so:

string typeName = this.GetType().AssemblyQualifiedName;
